Oregon, sweet Oregon

I might finally be recovered from our venture up to Oregon for Easter with family. Though Andrew was unable to join us, Bonnie and I didn't want to miss out on a rare few days together as an almost whole family. My sister and her family flew in from Michigan and both "Ma" and"Great Mamaw" flew in from Texas to join us. What a treat! Since the marriage of my younger brother, we have yet to all completely be together as an immediate family. You can understand my mother's sadness at the lack of a full family photo. We'll get it some day, Mom..... some day....

With two toddlers and a 6 month old in the house, there was sure a lot of energy each day. Now that we are back home, Bonnie has finally come to realize that when she yells, "Reid... come out!??," he's not coming out. It's safe to say they had some great cousin bonding time- including a trip to the Woodburn tulip field. Though, I'm not sure it's fare to call it much of an outing as it literally lasted all of 10 minutes. You can see the images below and quickly figure out why. Oh Reid, I needed that good laugh. Thank you.

As we each get older and add little ones to the pack, I become more and more thankful for our upbringing. I'm even more grateful that we have each other. Though we may not have always gotten along as kiddos, what a gift to have siblings (& now a brother and sis in law!- double bonus!) and parents who adore each other...

Bon and I also enjoyed time with Andrew's side of the family. I'm so glad we made the trip out to the coast to meet up with everyone for one of the days. We truly had an overall very packed week and were unfortunately unable to meet up with friends this trip. Next time!

This girl sure loves her Grandpa & Granita as well as the Ocean!
