Bonnie Grace // three years old

You at three.

Bonnie girl, you're truly an incredible little gal. You love sitting on the counter "helping" cook. You can dance all day long, every day, and never tire. Your laughter is contagious. You're quick to learn new skills (especially if they have to do with physical things such as dancing, jumping, twirling...). You stay with mom and dad during praise time at church and either cuddle in close while we sing, dance in the aisle, or raise your arms , close your eyes and sing your heart out (when you know the song!). This brings tears to my eyes. Happy tears.

For you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You challenge me each and every day in both the hardest ways and most important ways. You challenge me to be patient, to stop all I am doing and dance with you or explain something to you. You are kind to others and love giving to others.

My, oh my, are you full of energy. The park is your palace. No structure too high or too scary. You can conquer them all. You are fast; you are determined; you are strong-willed as they come. These attributes will serve you well, my dear. In time. You are blossoming before our eyes. You love your brother something fierce and he loves you too. His kisses calm you. He looks up to you so much.

I'm grateful for these years at home with you. Though challenging at times, through mothering you, I see the grace and goodness of the Lord. Oh how he loves us. How incredible that Christ laid down his life for me and for you. What an amazing example of unconditional love Christ gives us. We love you and we are beyond thankful to have you as our daughter. I hope you never doubt how much you are adored.

Go move mountains my love. Go play, twirl, sing, and jump your heart out.

Tangible Works of Art

When I say that I now create tangible works of art for my photography clients.... this is what I mean!

I'm thrilled to have a business structure which now focuses more on a full service and personal experience ending with gorgeous works of art to enjoy each and every day. Much research, thought, and care has gone into these changes (which were made in January 2017) and I could not be more excited about them. I think my clients agree too!

From a one on one pre-consult, personalized session, reveal and ordering appointment, to me arriving at your home with your works of art, this has been an incredible and meaningful change. I'm thankful to work together with my clients to create and plan customized sessions that will end in images they'll not only want to hang on their walls, but pass down from generation to generation.

As a professional photographer, I have the opportunity to work directly with some incredible printing labs and goods companies to create a line of products that are heirloom quality and that just make sense for my clients' desires and needs. All products I offer are chosen for a reason to create an incredible array of options for my clients. While I love creating the artwork and photographing each family, seeing their images printed (large!) is so gratifying and special.

Here are a few images from a recent client's order. Aren't they lovely! I can't wait to see their wall arrangements and to hear how their families love each of their framed prints as gifts.

Muir Woods // Family Day

Today was magical. Apart from the occasional fusses from the babes, our surroundings came straight out of a dream. Don't get me wrong, I do love a cliff-side with crashing waves and rock-filled beach, but oh my, today's Muir Woods offered such life and left me in awe. I'm now inspired to make a trip back through the real red woods before we relocate.

Bonnie kept saying, "Wow! God made this! It's amazing and so pretty!"

God is good. I needed this heavenly glimpse today. And, I needed the family day. We've had a fine week but the month prior was a tough one. Andrew is in his last 3 weeks of his 2nd Residency year. That means, one more year to go! It also means the most difficult is behind us (in theory at least). Hooray for a much nicer upcoming schedule and real weekends. More adventures to come!
